Maybury, Ph.D., has been named a 2010 IEEE Fellow. IEEE is the world's largest professional association dedicated to advancing innovation and technological excellence for the benefit of humanity. MITRE Named One of FORTUNE's "100 Best Companies to Work For" Nine Years in a Row February 2010 FORTUNE has ranked The MITRE Corporation #69 on its 2010 list of "100 Best Companies to Work For." This is the company's ninth straight year on the magazine's highly selective list. MITRE was specifically cited for work-life balance (ranked seventh overall) and for providing exceptional educational assistance benefits and reimbursement. The not-for-profit organization was also rated 17 out of 30 in the category of midsize companies. MITRE Makes Nielsen Norman Group's 10 Best Intranets List January 2010 The MITRE Corporation is pleased to announce that it has been named to Nielsen Norman Group's 2010 Ten Best Intranets annual list. This year's list recognized corporate intranets that expanded employees' access to information whether in the office or in other locations, and that added personalization and social networking features.
