Following is a list of some of these awards: 2008 MITRE Named to FORTUNE's "100 Best Companies to Work For" List for Seventh Consecutive Year Bedford, Massachusetts, and McLean, Virginia, January 23, 2008 The MITRE Corporation is pleased to announce that it ranked number 42 on FORTUNE's 2008 list of "100 Best Companies to Work For." The designation marks MITRE's seventh consecutive year on the magazine's annual list and represents a jump from number 60 in 2007. Among medium-sized companies, MITRE ranked 13. The company was also named number six out of the top ten businesses for encouraging employee work/life balance. MITRE Engineer Honored for Achievements in Airborne Collision Avoidance McLean, Virginia, January 8, 2008 Mr. Andrew Zeitlin, D.Sc., senior principal engineer in The MITRE Corporation's Center for Advanced Aviation System Development (CAASD), has received the 2007 Dr. John C. Ruth Digital Avionics Award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
