MITRE Systems Engineers Honored at Women of Color Technology Awards

Three MITRE engineers were recently honored at the National Women of Color Technology Awards Conference for their technical accomplishments and professional and community leadership. Kidest (Mimi) Hailegiorghis was named a Technology All-Star, and Veronica Berryman and Andrean Colón-Padilla were named Rising Stars of Technology.


MITRE Named a "Great Place to Work" by Washingtonian Magazine

MITRE's Harry W. Vasquez Receives National Reconnaissance Office Superior Service Award

Harry W. Vasquez, director of intelligence integration at The MITRE Corporation, recently received the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Medal of Superior Service. The award was presented to Vasquez for his 12 years of outstanding service as the senior program manager for MITRE's NRO program and for his contributions to the NRO's mission.


MITRE Places 10th on "100 Best Places to Work in IT" List

The MITRE Corporation is pleased to announce that it has been named to Computerworld's "100 Best Places to Work in IT" list. MITRE was ranked 10th on the list. Selection to the list, which is now in its 12th year, is based on a survey of each organization's employment statistics and financial data, benefits policies and programs, as well as feedback from employees.


MITRE Trustee Dr. George H. Heilmeier Wins Kyoto Prize

Dr. James C. Ellenbogen Receives 2005 Award for Merit and Distinction in the Engineering Sciences

MITRE Engineers Honored by U.S. Department of State

Two MITRE engineers recently received a Superior Honor Award from the U.S. Department of State for their role in advancing U.S.-European Union cooperation on the U.S. Global Positioning System (GPS) and Galileo, the satellite navigation system being developed by the European Union.
