How MITRE Is Helping
Image Regularization for
Biometric Face ID. Research into improving the performance of existing
face ID methods with preprocessing of images using regularization algorithms
to address image variability.
Information Sharing Risk
Assessment. Research into overcoming fears and doubts about the
risks associated with sharing information and the management of identified
risks.
Information Sharing via
Trusted Intermediaries. Research on the issue of inadequate information
sharing during emergencies and hazardous situations, with the objective
of demonstrating that adaptive sharing policies can enhance cross-boundary
information sharing via trusted intermediaries.
Cross-Boundary Information
Sharing. Research into technical solutions to support interconnection
of communities, information discovery, and protection of shared information.
IQF (Image Quality
of Fingerprint) Software Application. Available as a freeware software
application, IQF provides a quantitative measure of image quality to
measure the visual quality of a digital fingerprint image and help determine
the probability of successful matching.
