Social Science Research & Consulting
MITRE and its sponsors are increasingly aware that good systems engineering necessarily includes an understanding of the social, cultural, and institutional contexts in which technologies are deployed. The techniques of a variety of Social Science disciplines (e.g., sociology, anthropology, organizational studies, management, public policy, political science, psychology) can be brought to bear to elucidate this aspect of the systems engineering problem. G060 Social Science practitioners carry out research and consulting in these areas to address real Government problems. Dr. JoAnn Brooks and LeeEllen Friedland |
