Communications Engineer Internship (E130)

MITRE is offering a number of excellent opportunities to build upon your academic foundation and join a dynamic multi-disciplined technical team having fundamental impact on the design and development of next generation communication systems. Requirements

Communications Engineer Co-op (E130)

The Tactical Data Network team is looking for an energetic engineering candidate to contribute in the area of networking and communications maintenance and research within our military communications lab and shelters.

Communications Engineer Co-op (E534)

Assist with electronic circuit design, fabrication, and test. Participate in hands-on work in state-of-the-art radio frequency (RF), communications and radar hardware development laboratories. You will perform laboratory measurements on components for microwave and optical systems using network analyzers, wafer probing stations, spectrum analyzers, etc.

  • Pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering or similar

Digital Design Engineer Co-op (E536)

The Digital Design team is looking for a student interested in working on interesting Communications, Networking, and Navigation digital designs to support the DOD.

As a co-op software developer in MITRE's Information Technology (IT) Web Development team you will work with technical team members to create top-quality solutions that address MITRE's business needs. Radar Systems Analysis Co-op (E113)

Be a member of a laboratory team of radar systems analysts evaluating the performance of cutting-edge missile defense systems vital to homeland security. Learn or deepen your knowledge of industry standard analysis tools such as MATLAB and Satellite Toolkit (STK) and gain experience working in a professional engineering environment. Signal Processing Engineers - Full-time (E532)

MITRE provides exceptional opportunities for recent college graduates who want to build skills in signal processing theory and to apply their knowledge to wireless communications, navigation systems, sensor processing and exploitation. We have ongoing research efforts in the areas of wireless communication system and signal design, multi-input multi-output (MIMO) communication systems, multi-user detection (MUD), array and multi-channel processing, radar signal processing, particularly synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image processing algorithms, radar target tracking, sensor fusion, resource management and control. Nowhere is this challenge greater than in the Air Force where MITRE is working to migrate the power of the network from the ground environment to the airborne domain (fighters, bombers, command and control platforms, etc.) to better defend and protect our country.

MITRE needs staff who have interest and skills in the classical engineering domains (communications, electrical, computer, mechanical, etc.) but have pursued or have interest in pursing a degree in systems engineering at the bachelors or masters level.
