Who Succeeds in MITRE's Internship Program?
MITRE hires undergraduate and graduate students for co-op jobs, summer internships, and full-time jobs. We seek students with research and analytical skills, plus the ability to work with a range of technologies. If you have a BS/MS in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, math, or similar degree program, MITRE just might be the place for you. Experience with the following is especially desired: Java, C#, C++, Matlab, HTML, Visual Basic; understanding of enterprise frameworks (J2EE, .NET); familiarity with Windows, Linux, Mac, and UNIX operating systems; security; information assurance; cryptography; electronics (VHDL, Verilog, ASICs, FPGAs, embedded hardware and software, circuit design, antenna design), digital signal processing; GPS; software-defined radios; communication (wired and wireless); and network protocols. Salary Co-ops, interns and college graduates are paid a competitive salary commensurate with their education level and technical skills.
