The Workshop is sponsored by OSD DDR&E, DARPA, NSF and MITRE. The goal is to bring together Government, Industry and Academia to accelerate the development and transition of appropriate Netted Sensors (NS) technologies to solve real world problems. The first NS Workshop will have three days of unclassified sessions and a one day classified session, held on October 26, which will be limited to US citizens holding an SCI security clearance.
The workshop will provide a forum for both developers and users of netted sensors technologies to share, exchange, and disseminate information. The workshop will cover the latest advances in NS R&D, commercial products and discuss the applications and challenges associated with the use of NS to solve existing and future DOD, Intelligence Community (IC), Industrial and Environmental problems.
