MITRE Quantico Phone Numbers Have Changed: All Numbers Are Affected FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MITRE Contacts: Jennifer J. Shearman Alan M. Shoemaker McLean, Virginia, December 9, 2005 — Effective Saturday, December 17, The MITRE Corporation's Quantico site in Woodbridge, Va., has new external phone numbers. Our area code will remain 703, however, all individual extensions will change. The site's main number will be (703) 496-9200. The reason for the change is that we have a new phone services provider and were not able to maintain the same block of numbers. Our current mailing address will remain unchanged. Customers, vendors, and other stakeholders will be informed of employees' new phone numbers by December 17. MITRE (www.mitre.org) is a not-for-profit company that provides systems engineering, research and development, and information technology support to the government. It operates federally funded research and development centers for the Department of Defense, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Internal Revenue Service, with principal locations in Bedford, Mass., and McLean, Va.
