The MITRE Corporation Celebrates 25 Years in Huntsville

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Bedford, Massachusetts, and McLean, Virginia, August 9, 2007 — The MITRE Corporation, a leader in applying systems engineering and advanced technology, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its Huntsville, Alabama site on August 13, 2007. The site opened its doors in 1982 with one employee and over the years has grown to meet the needs of our sponsors, employing 56 people today.

MITRE's President and Chief Executive Officer Al Grasso said, "We are very pleased that our sponsors value our contributions to their work programs in Huntsville—we work as their partner and provide innovative systems thinking to address their most vexing technical problems.
