With MITRE since 1989, Providakes brings broad experience to CEM. He has held multiple senior technology and program management roles for a range of military service and civilian government agency customers. In his new position, he will work with CEM director J. Gagnon has been at MITRE since 1986. Prior to his appointment, he served as executive director for MITRE's Center for National Security Programs. Gagnon has an in-depth knowledge of information security and experience addressing a variety of intelligence community challenges. As CIIS vice president, he will work with Robert F. Nesbit, CIIS senior vice president and general manager, to lead the Center. Gagnon holds a bachelor's in computer science from Fitchburg State College. As CIO, Mikelskas will direct the Center for Information and Technology (CI&T), MITRE's internal technology organization. He will work with Joel D. Jacobs, Deputy CIO, to further leverage CI&T's capabilities. Mikelskas, vice president of CIIS since 2001, has an extensive background in advanced intelligence and information systems and a keen understanding of the information and knowledge management challenges facing MITRE's sponsors and customers. He earned a bachelor's in mathematics from Fairfield University and a doctorate in computer science from the Pennsylvania State University. Haller was most recently a senior vice president in MITRE's Command and Control Center. As director of the DoD C3I FFRDC, he will focus on integration and interoperability topics of importance to both the DoD and the intelligence community.
