MITRE Opens Clarksburg Site in West Virginia FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MITRE Contacts: Jennifer J. Shearman Karina H. Wright MCLEAN, Va., August 16, 2010 — The MITRE Corporation announces the official opening of its Clarksburg, W. Va., site. The site was first established in a temporary location in October 2008 to provide support to the company's Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Justice (DoJ) customers. The site is located in the White Oaks Business Park and houses 10 technical and administrative staff. "Here in Clarksburg we assist our customers in improving their biometric capabilities and in sharing critical law enforcement information internally and externally," says David Hodulich, site leader. "The core of our work focuses on systems engineering, but also involves process improvement, organizational change management, and intelligence activities." A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held to celebrate the official opening on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at 45 Professional Place, Bridgeport, W. Va. Guest speakers for the event include Bridgeport's Mayor James Christie and MITRE's President and CEO Alfred Grasso.
