MITRE's Gary Gagnon Elected to Cyber Committee of AFCEA International FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MITRE Contacts: Jennifer J. Shearman Karina H. Wright MCLEAN, Va., March 10, 2011 — Gary Gagnon, MITRE vice president and corporate director of cyber security, has been elected to serve a three-year term on the Cyber Committee of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) International. While AFCEA's principal purposes involve support to the Armed Forces, the Cyber Committee strives to contribute to global cyber security. As an active focal point within AFCEA on cyber-related issues, the Cyber Committee supports the cyber needs of the entire national security community, as well as those of our nation's allies.
