The Attack Operations Decision Aid (AODA) is a prototype software tool being developed under the Theater Missile Defense (TMD) Battle Management/C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence) project. The main function of the tool is to determine and recommend, in near real time, an assignment plan to divert assets from pre-planned Air Tasking Order missions to Time Critical Targets. MITREs work in developing this decision aid focuses on pairing weapons with targets, including the necessary input and output interfaces. For a description of AODAs ability to pair weapons and targets, ascribe values to targets and assets, evaluate all possible weapon-target pairs, and determine and update an optimal pairing plan, see Attack Operations Decision Aid.
