Keeping Track of Interface Status

To keep track of the status of an interface, you must know the following:

  1. Name of the interface
  2. Points of contact for reporting progress and coordinating schedules
  3. Kind of interface and data transferred
  4. Nature of the modifications
  5. Dates each side plans for completion of modifications
  6. Testing dates
  7. Testing status

The interface status as understood by each user should be constantly compared with that maintained by all other users, and differences should be resolved as quickly as possible.
