Social and Behavioral Sciences

Our social and behavioral sciences experts focus on research about people and how they interact with each other and with supporting systems in domains of national interest.

Overview

Our social and behavioral sciences experts focus on research about people and how they interact with each other and with supporting systems in domains of national interest. Areas of emphasis include: behavioral assessment, stakeholder alignment, organizational and change management, shared situation awareness, and information sharing within and across boundaries. Managing cultural differences, privacy, and trust are cross-cutting challenges for social and behavioral research, as are promoting effective communication and collaboration and measuring/modeling the impact of interventions.
