In today's world of increasingly complex cyber attacks, an organization's entire IT and communications infrastructure could be compromised in a matter of minutes, leading to unusable systems, data, and other effects that hinder or shut down operations completely. As a result, companies face the daunting challenge of maintaining critical functions in the face of these inevitable breaches. Traditional defenses are critical but must be augmented by technology to enable organizations to complete their missions despite successful attacks. Resilience to cyber attacks must be formulated through technical, procedural, and policy changes to the infrastructure, architecture, and enterprise operations. Our researchers work closely with partners in government, academia, and commercial companies to create cost-effective cyber resiliency solutions to keep systems up and running if a cyber attack occurs.
