As technical director, Ms. Warren is responsible for broad technical leadership, guidance and strategy development for the Center for Transforming Health. In this role, she manages MITRE's health-related technical capability development, and directs the MITRE Innovation Program health research portfolio. She is responsible for the broad academic, industry, and sponsor stakeholder relationships in the New England region. She is also a key member MITRE's Innovation Council, which is responsible for guiding MITRE's overall research and innovation program.
Ms. Warren recently served as the first chief technologist of the Homeland Security Systems Engineering and Development Institute (HS SEDI™). Previously, she led MITRE’s support to the Transportation Security Administration, directing MITRE's Screening, Credentialing, and Transportation Security work program. Earlier, as chief architect for MITRE's Center for Advanced Aviation System Development, she played a key role in evolving software processes and establishing strategic directions for software modeling, simulation, and laboratory assets.
Ms. Warren has more than 20 years of experience in artificial intelligence, large-scale systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and supply chain and enterprise collaborative technology. She has published numerous articles external to MITRE on artificial intelligence, intelligent tutoring systems, and screening and identity systems. Ms. Warren earned an MS in artificial intelligence from Edinburgh University and a BS in computer science from the Syracuse University.
