Overview
Information technology expertise is a core capability that cuts across MITRE's work for its various government sponsors. MITRE staff possess skills in such areas as data management, networking, hardware engineering, software design, database development, information security, and systems integration.
As part of its charter, MITRE seeks to collect and share its knowledge on information technology topics of interest to government sponsors. This often is in the form of lessons learned, advice on how to navigate uncertain IT terrain, and assessments of new and emerging IT areas.
