ABSTRACT
This paper summarizes the results of preliminary investigations undertaken by MITRE's "Making Acquisition Measurable" (MAM)
Capability Development Team to support Government programs in measuring the adoption and impact of four Information Technology (IT) acquisition principles. These principles are identified within Section 804 of the FY 2010 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) as critical to a new IT acquisition process that must be created by the Department of Defense (DoD).
