The Core Protocol Set for the Global Grid

ABSTRACT
The protocol set for the Global Grid is addressed. A rationale for
specifying a core protocol set, the methodology for determining
the protocols included, and a discussion of the extensibility of
the core protocol set to address support for user-specific
applications are provided.
