ABSTRACT
This paper describes results from a state-of-the-art computer simulation
model of distributed human decision-making in Traffic Flow Management
(TFM) operations when weather disrupts airline schedules. The computer
model, called Intelligent agent-based Model for Policy Analysis of Collaborative
TFM (IMPACT), is believed to be the world's first model to capture the
behavioral complexity of human decision-making in TFM operations.
