ABSTRACT

At the request of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the MITRE Corporation's Center for Advanced Aviation System development (CAASD) has assembled a collection of recommended practices for applying the Total Airspace and Airspace Modeller (TAAM) to aviation system simulations. Candidates for TAAM best practices were solicited from experienced TAAM users both in and out of CAASD. These practices are described in the context of project planning and execution.
