ABSTRACT

This report identifies federal laws and regulations, federal directives and guides, Department of the Treasury (Treasury) directives, IRS Manual requirements, and guidance applicable to business continuity that federal agencies, and the IRS in particular, need to address. Requirements and advisories are also categorized into the 10 business continuity subject areas which are defined by Disaster Recovery Institute, International. This report is intended to be used as a reference source by anyone developing an Enterprise Architecture or a federal business continuity program. (The report does NOT address national security systems’ requirements.)
