MITRE Employees Honored at 2018 BEYA ConferenceFebruary 2018
Six employees of The MITRE Corporation were recognized for their professional accomplishments at the 2018 Becoming Everything You Are (BEYA) STEM Global Competitiveness Conference, February 8-10 in Washington D.C.
At the event’s Modern-Day Technology Luncheon on February 9, MITRE employees Breanna Hall, Rosamaria Morales, and Mary Tolbert were named Modern-Day Technology Leaders. The next day at the Gala Awards Dinner, Arissa Hodges (Outstanding Technical Contribution) and Hamza Syed (Most Promising Engineer) were singled out for recognition. Earlier, Joseph Moore was honored at the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Engineering Deans Breakfast.
The annual conference brings together STEM professionals from various sectors, students in underrepresented groups, and women in the U.S. technology sector. The conference’s goal is to create a network of role models, help senior leadership identify talent, and aid organizations in developing STEM talent in minority and women.
