Vice President of Human Resources and Talent Enablement
Gus Bentivegna serves as vice president of human resources and talent enablement at MITRE. Bentivegna is responsible for talent planning, recruiting, and total rewards programs for 8,000 employees in 60 locations in the United States and around the world. He also manages the onboarding experience, career progression, professional development, and performance management to recognize and reward high performers.
Bentivegna previously served as a client relationship director, senior consultant, and led the Talent Line of Business for the New England region at Willis Towers Watson, a global human capital management firm. He brings a wealth of strategy, portfolio management, and implementation expertise with large complex organizations, including Partners HealthCare system, which operates two of the nation’s most prestigious academic medical centers. He led the firm’s national healthcare provider and higher education industry verticals, working with more than 500 cross-discipline consultants to provide customized total rewards solutions and products for those industries.
Prior to his 18 years at Willis Towers Watson, he was responsible for a variety of human resources, change management, and communication roles at Verizon, Citibank, and Nielsen.
Bentivegna has been a featured speaker at national and regional industry conferences and quoted in industry publications and video segments on the topic of total rewards, organizational change, employee engagement, talent, and communications.
He holds a master’s in business and communications from Fordham University and bachelor’s in psychology from Sacred Heart University.
