Teri Li Hoffman-Boswell

Director, Mission Enablers

Ms. Teri Li Hoffman-Boswell is a senior leader with more than 30 years of acquisition, financial, and IT management experience focused on providing creative solutions to complex enterprise IT problems faced by senior government executives.

Currently, Ms. Hoffman-Boswell is the Director for the Mission Enablers Division within MITRE’s Homeland Security Systems Engineering and Development Institute™ (HSSEDI) FFRDC. In this role she is responsible for HSSEDI’s support to the headquarter elements of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), including the Science and Technology Directorate, the Intelligence and Analysis Directorate, the Management Directorate, and the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office.

Prior to this, Ms. Hoffman-Boswell served as the Portfolio Director for Enterprise Integration and Innovation in MITRE's Center for Veterans Enterprise Transformation. In this role, she cultivated cross-team integration and fortified relationships between MITRE’s innovators, portfolio teams, and sponsors. Ms. Hoffman-Boswell possesses a unique combination of acquisition, financial, program management, systems engineering, and cybersecurity skills throughout her leadership of technical teams and large-scale, complex government information system modernization projects. She has contributed her leadership in work for the Department of Veterans Affairs; Department of Defense (Defense Chief Information Officer, Defense Security Cooperation Agency, and Defense Information Service Agency); DHS; U.S. Customs and Border Protection; Department of the Interior; Federal Aviation Administration; Financial Management Service; and the Census Bureau, and has developed trusted relationships across all levels of MITRE’s sponsors and partners.

During her 20 years at MITRE, Ms. Hoffman-Boswell has demonstrated a high level of technical leadership and performance both externally and internally. Her contributions continue to be recognized through numerous MITRE awards and by many senior sponsors.

Ms. Hoffman-Boswell earned a BS degree in economics from the University of Maryland and an MBA from George Mason University.
