Using MITRE ATT&CK® in Government

MITRE is planning to host a training and discussion event on the MITRE ATT&CK® framework for U.S. government attendees on May 18 – 20 at our McLean, VA campus. The goal of the event is for government users of ATT&CK to share best practices across organizations.

The full agenda will be announced as speakers and topics are identified. The 3-day agenda will include:

  • Day one: Hands-on technical training delivered by the MITRE ATT&CK team
  • Day two: Unclassified presentations by government and MITRE presenters
  • Day three: Classified presentations

EVENT POSTPONED!

Following reports from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the COVID-19 virus, MITRE has decided to postpone “Using MITRE ATT&CK® in Government” originally scheduled for May 18 – 20, 2020. We will announce new dates once they have been determined.

Presentation Proposal Submission Process

Please submit your presentation proposal in an email to ATTACK4Gov@mitre.org. (Note: this is an unclassified email address. If you need a more secure method of submission, please let us know.)

Include the following information in your email submission:

Personal information

  • Name
  • Title
  • Agency
  • Email address
  • Biography (max 150 words)
  • (Include information above for additional presenters if appropriate.)

Presentation information

  • Talk length – 30 minutes / 45 minutes / flexible (open to 30 or 45 minutes)
  • Abstract (Max 200 words)
  • Classification level of presentation
  • Detailed outline - Outline the flow and structure of your talk hitting the key points you'd like to make, what the audience will learn, and detailing material you plan to cover. Be sure to address how ATT&CK fits into your use case/presentation.
