Kathleen (Katie) H. Henry is vice president, corporate finance, accounting, and treasury at MITRE. In this role, she leads MITRE’s $2.2B enterprise-wide financial planning and budgeting process, treasury, and financial operations and accounting. She and her team of senior financial professionals and managers, support, and drive MITRE’s financial objectives. Henry provides insight and periodic analysis on the state of the business and supports special projects aligned to MITRE’s Good Growth strategy.

In collaboration with the Finance Senior Leadership team, Henry integrates inputs, planning, and executing strategies that drive change and transformation to achieve MITRE’s corporate and financial goals.

Henry joined MITRE after nearly two decades with Booz Allen Hamilton, as vice president, finance, where she led financial day-to-day operations and an 80-person team, including strategic planning and forecasting, operational and management reporting, and modeling and analysis for the firm’s national security portfolio.

Prior to this role, Henry was the firm’s financial planning lead where she oversaw an $8 billion budget and steered its finance transformation program, including a complete redesign of the cost management approach. She built a dynamic infrastructure to support the growing diversity of Booz Allen's business, including organizing the firm's cost structure, supporting processes, and enabling technologies to adapt to future needs. In addition, Henry advised senior management on a wide range of key business issues and was a key member of several firm-wide task forces establishing standards for budgeting, reporting, and profit and loss calculations.

She also played a lead role in developing an internal financial management training program for Booz Allen’s finance organization. In recognition of this work, Henry received the 2021 Rising Star Award from the Northern Virginia Technology Council. In 2022 she was named among the Top 50 Women Leaders in Finance by Women We Admire.

Henry holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and international communications from The American University Kogod School of Business and completed the KPMG Executive Leadership Institute for Women.
