MITRE’s vice president of diversity and chief sustainability officer has been named to WashingtonExec’s Top DE&I Execs to Watch in 2024 list.

In light of GovCon’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, WashingtonExec is recognizing those championing DE&I efforts in industry and beyond. These executives drive efforts within their organizations to create inclusive communities that advocate for diversity of people and perspective, and for companies to represent these sentiments inside and outside of their organizations.

“Stephanie has partnered across MITRE to evolve and integrate our IDE efforts into the fabric of our work and throughout the organization,” says Julie Bowen, MITRE senior vice president of operations and outreach, and chief legal officer. “She's also strengthening and expanding relationships with industry and academia to help shape STEM education in underserved communities. She brings this commitment to collaboration and delivering whole-of-nation solutions to our corporate sustainability program as well.”
