Systems Engineering Competency Model

The Systems Engineering Competency Model helps MITRE enhance its strategic capability in systems engineering. It reflects MITRE's brand of systems engineering, which is a government view and approach to systems engineering. In our independent partner role as an operator of federally funded research and development centers, we take the government's view and support its needs. Government contractors have a somewhat different model than the one described here.
