Pioneering together with government, academia, and industry, we are uniquely positioned to move quickly in defining problems and proposing solutions. This reputation was a key reason Mayo Clinic and others asked MITRE to manage the COVID-19 Healthcare Coalition, now more than 800 members strong.
Meanwhile, our researchers are working tirelessly on such solutions as determining the best method for decontaminating large quantities of N95 masks and other personal protective gear. Others have developed an app that lets people report coronavirus symptoms easily, from home.
