Open Perception Velodyne Code Sprint provides support for the Velodyne High Definition Laser (HDL) in the Open Source Point Cloud Library (PCL).

The PCL provides highly optimized algorithms for working with 2D and 3D images and point clouds. The PCL would like to add the Velodyne HDL sensor to their supported sensor suite.

MITRE will be developing the interface software to integrate the HDL sensor into the PCL.
