Chuck Lewis

Director for Data Analytics

As the Division Director for Data Analytics in MITRE's Homeland Security Center (HLSC), Mr. Lewis oversees the work program strategy, development, and delivery to the DHS Science & Technology’s (S&T) Data Analytics Technology Center (DATC).  He brings more than 25 years of experience and a broad background working at both the strategic and tactical levels providing technical and policy support to DHS, Intelligence Community, state, local, and private sector partners. His current focus is on various big data projects and advanced analytic technologies to support counterterrorism and counterintelligence missions across the homeland security enterprise.

Mr. Lewis holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Maryland. Mr. Lewis also volunteers as a firefighter/medic with the Howard County Department of Fire & Rescue in Howard County, MD.
