MITRE's Brandt Lomen has been selected as a recipient of the Association of Old Crows (AOC) Future 5 Award, which honors emerging leaders under 30 advancing the future of electromagnetic warfare and spectrum operations.
Lomen was recognized for inventing a novel spectrum technology and rapidly driving it from concept to prototype in just six months. His work delivered a smaller, lower-cost spectrum-dependent device and accelerated the transition of critical capabilities to warfighters, government, and industry partners.
"Congratulations to MITRE's own Brandt Lomen on being named an AOC Future 5 Award recipient," said Keoki Jackson, Sc.D., senior vice president, general manager, MITRE National Security. "Brandt is redefining what's possible in electromagnetic warfare and spectrum operations, and his mission-first mindset exemplifies the innovation and collaboration needed to strengthen our national security."
