MITRE’s AI Assurance & Discovery Lab is designed to proactively discover and mitigate mission-critical risks in AI-enabled systems. The McLean, Va.-based lab is an instrumented physical and digital space directed to support assurance activities at any stage in a system’s lifecycle—from idea to prototype to fielded system. Our AI experts work with stakeholders to characterize assurance needs, design and execute rigorous assurance investigations, and develop governance recommendations for safe and effective use.
