McLean, Va., & Bedford, Mass., Aug. 6, 2026 – MITRE has promoted Glenn Daly to vice president of engineering and analysis. Daly, who brings 25 years of technical and leadership experience across MITRE, will oversee the Center for Engineering and Analysis (CEA).

Daly joined MITRE in 2001 and rose through the technical ranks, to become mission director of the division that supports the Office of the Secretary of War in MITRE National Security sector.

He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.

“Glenn has a strong record of bringing teams together to solve difficult technical problems for the Department of War, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Intelligence Community,” said Mark Peters, president and CEO, MITRE. “In this role, he will focus that expertise on delivering capabilities that work in the field and advance the mission.”

In this leadership position, Daly will play a key role in developing and sustaining the foundational engineering and analytic capabilities that underpin the missions of the federal agencies that sponsor the federally-funded research and development centers that MITRE leads.

“I am excited and honored to step into this new role to help build for the future of MITRE and our federal sponsors,” Daly said. “Cutting edge technical and analytical excellence is critical to seizing the nation’s biggest opportunities in the coming years.”

The Center for Engineering and Analysis will shape the next generation of systems engineering in the public interest on national and global-scale challenges. Daly will lead MITRE's technical teams made up of engineers, scientists, analysts, and strategists focused on Infrastructure, Network, and Connections; Systems Engineering, Modeling and Analysis, Signals and Electronics, and Emerging Technologies. Under Daly’s leadership, CEA will strengthen the connection between these capabilities and the work in support of MITRE sponsors’ critical challenges.
