ROSIE is a touchless optical physiology monitoring system for remote biometric collection.
ROSIE: Remote Optical Screening of Individuals in Entryways
Monitoring a patient's physiology is a critical component of healthcare. Existing technologies that aid in monitoring key vital signs call for close proximity and peripheral sensors. The ROSIE system, short for Remote Optical Screening of Individuals in Entryways, offers a touchless solution for optical physiology monitoring.
The ROSIE prototype hardware and software system collects accurate vitals for initial health assessments and monitoring. By design, ROSIE collects biometrics at remote and standoff distances, making it well-suited for facilities, clinics, and population health screening, as well as remote and telecare use cases.
The prototype system is flexible and can accommodate additional sensors and screening techniques for application to other uses.
