Delivering Results for the Public: Meeting the Challenges of Today and the FutureFebruary 2017
Topics: Federal Transition, Presidential Transition, Government Transition
Transition of power after a Presidential election is complicated; preparing the federal government for a seamless shift to a new administration is crucial to continuing important work on behalf of the American people. To help inform this transition, MITRE is sharing our insights and experiences with those involved in the transition. Our recommendations derive from the ongoing, practical guidance we provide our federal agency sponsors as they face critical national challenges.
MITRE has compiled a booklet of its topic papers – Delivering Results for the Public: Meeting the Challenges of Today and the Future – that addresses five management priorities: a) Creating the Future, b) Accelerating Acquisition of New Capabilities, c) Protecting Our Information Assets, d) Defending the Nation, and e) Delivering Mission Results.
This booklet is being provided to our government sponsors; it supports MITRE’s focus on assisting new administration and career civil service leaders through the transition and beyond to achieve results that matter.
