Core Technology Research

Lab

We are also investigating emerging technologies that may revolutionize capabilities in the future—such as nanotechnology and quantum computing.

The research conducted in the Core Technology Innovation Areas focuses on technologies that support a wide range of sponsors' present and future needs. Each of these areas represents a portfolio of projects that address a challenge from multiple disciplines.

Working in these core technologies allows MITRE staff to acquire and maintain hands-on expertise in new and emerging technologies that are—or could be—of strategic importance to our sponsors.
