WashingtonExec named Jeff Arnold, Ph.D., chief scientist, Climate and Environmental Sciences, to its list of “Top Climate Change Execs to Watch in 2023.” Arnold is being recognized for leading the implementation of MITRE ADAPT, a new framework of networked data, models, and insights to inform decisions regarding the effects, costs, and uncertainties of climate change adaptation actions.
WashingtonExec notes: “Arnold came to MITRE in April 2022 to serve as its first chief scientist for climate and environmental sciences, bringing with him a 25-year history in atmospheric science research and hydro-climate engineering applications across three federal agencies.”
