For a third year in a row, Cyber Defense Magazine selected MITRE for three Global InfoSec Awards. The judges annually select winners who understand tomorrow’s threats, provide a cost-effective solution, and innovate in unexpected ways that can help mitigate cyber risk to get ahead of the next possible breach.

MITRE and the Cloud Security Alliance collaborated to establish the Cloud Adversarial, Vectors, Exploits, and Threats (CAVEaT™) platform which provides cloud security professionals with the cloud service specific threat and mitigation content a cloud security practitioner requires to effectively engineer and implement cyber countermeasures. CAVEaT won a Publisher's Choice honor for “Industry Collaboration for Digital Infrastructure Security.”
In 2024, the Global InfoSec Awards recognized MITRE ATLAS™ for its role in identifying and mapping the unique security vulnerabilities of AI-enabled systems. Building on this foundation of threat characterization, MITRE introduced and expanded ATLAS Mitigations—an actionable set of security techniques and best practices designed to help organizations defend against specifically aligned AI security threats. By extending ATLAS to include actionable defenses against demonstrated threats, Mitigations informs industry and government with actions they can take to strengthen AI security and assurance. In 2025, the Global InfoSec Awards honored ATLAS Mitigations with its Publisher's Choice designation for the adversarial machine-learning threat mitigation category.
