What’s the issue? Transportation advancements in safety, efficiency, equity, and environmental impact are difficult to achieve consistently across communities.
What did we do? MITRE’s transportation experts analyzed this challenge and leveraged our unique vantage point across government missions to develop guidance for the incoming administration to scale transportation advancements nationally.
What did we find? By supporting community-centered decision makers in evaluating their investments in terms of multimodal benefits, technology interoperability, and safety, the incoming administration has an opportunity to strengthen how the U.S. transportation system connects communities and serves national missions like defense and disaster relief.
