MITRE Announces Five New Leadership Appointments
McLean, Va., August 15, 2017—As part of our increased focus on technical innovation and maximizing our impact on our nation’s most critical challenges, The MITRE Corporation announces the appointment of five senior leaders to new roles.
Mark Maybury, Ph.D., will serve as vice president for MITRE's Intelligence Portfolio. Maybury previously served as vice president and chief security officer.
John Kreger will serve as vice president of Public Sector Programs, which supports agencies including the Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Homeland Security, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and Department of Veterans Affairs. Kreger previously served as vice president and director of the Homeland Security Systems Engineering and Development Institute, a federally funded research and development center that MITRE operates on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security.
Eileen Boettcher will serve as vice president for Joint & Services Programs, which includes MITRE's support to the Army, Navy, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Missile Defense Agency, and Defense Information Systems Agency. Boettcher previously served as technical director for MITRE's Law Enforcement and Domestic Security (LEADS) program division.
Kerry Buckley, Ph.D., will serve as vice president for Intelligence Programs, which includes MITRE's support to organizations such as the National Security Agency, U.S. Cyber Command, and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, as well law enforcement agencies. She previously served as technical director for MITRE's Information Technology Technical Center.
Douglas Robbins will serve as vice president for Air Force Programs. He previously served as director of strategic development for MITRE's Bedford operations and before that as chief engineer for MITRE’s Air Force portfolio.
