The Washington Post has named The MITRE Corporation to its Top Workplaces list for 2018. MITRE, which has appeared on the list for four consecutive years, was ranked 26 in the category of largest organizations with 500 employees or more in the Washington, D.C., area. The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback.
"We are very proud to be named to The Washington Post's list for the fourth year in a row," said Jason Providakes, MITRE President and CEO. “The results reinforce our goal of being a world-class organization. Our employees' dedication to MITRE’s mission of solving problems for a safer world is what truly make us a Top Workplace."
MITRE employees who work at the organization's McLean headquarters and elsewhere in the Washington, D.C., area provide systems engineering, research and development, and IT systems and cyber systems support to a range of government sponsors and customers to help them solve difficult problems that challenge the safety, stability and well-being of the nation.
